i saw a small snail
slowly sliding outside the door
not wanting to disturb it
i closed the door
the next day i saw
a shell unfleshed in a pot
a shell damaged in part
and i wondered
was it the colour
of the shell
of the snail
i had seen
if so
had it been broken
after the snail had left the shell behind
to further sojourn
or
heaven forbids
great snake
stepped upon
before so gone

seemphony

holding firmly the baton
the maestro rhythmically
dips and digs
the wand wanting

letap letap letap

i go

letap letip letap letip

false trotting to the waltz

the maestro clenches a fist
to his heart
fixes me a sharp look

then flatly changing stepping
i go

taple taple taple

hara-kirri the kiri kanan

salvation

if you ask
and i ask back

do you mean am i safe
as in safety safe
as in do i wear a helmet
that prevents debris
from falling and entering
that encapsulates
the poison in the head
 that makes me unsafe

naturally i  would say
as in not condemned safe

or

do you mean am i saved
as if i am lost in the wilderness
with the hounds in the dark menacing
and i crying out for help

naturally i would say
tis just aim and fire thats all

oh

if you mean
am i salvated
as only the one can invent the intervention

sadly i could only say
i am only just
on the first step
on my way
not your way
nor his way
nor our way

might be a leap
to the stars
or the other way

circe d'loh

circles

i like circles before one
unlike most who like circles after one
this is the picture of circles before one
if you mirror image on one as axis
you would get circles after one
you would be as rich as you can be
here i would fly in the flyer
in a circle looking down on one
as poor as i can be

LEAVE ASIDE

last fall
a falling leaf fell
from a way side tree
along a macadamized road

along came a blower
whose whirling machine swept it
onto the curb

along came a sucker
whose twirler urged the leave
from the inplanted
told to instantly provide shades
to go into bin

this fall
a falling leave
from a forest
will gravitate
unsung
unswept
to decompose
to nourish itself
to the roots
